Our model home at Tidal Walk had some visitors last week, as local artists Ellen Rice and Cheryl Wisbrock took over to showcase their renditions of the Delaware Beaches. With a spacious back patio, easy, open concept main level and plenty of neutral, coastal decor, even we were surprised with how seamlessly our Sandpiper home transformed into an art gallery. The event was made complete with light bites and beverages for visitors to enjoy as they learned more about two of the Bethany Beach area’s most iconic local artists.
In her series of acrylic portraits, Cheryl Wisbrock’s love of love of land- and seascapes, regional architecture and coastal charm shines through in her large collection of work, which can be found year-round at Gallery One in Ocean View. Our other featured artist, Ellen Rice, has a notably different style of beach-themed artwork, using a variety of different painting styles to produce pieces that range from imaginative to incredibly realistic. Her work can be found at her gallery, The Ellen Rice Gallery, also located in Ocean View.
