Permit Coordinator

Evergreene Homes has expanded operations and is seeking a Permit Coordinator in Northern Virginia.

As a Permit Coordinator, your administrative support and attention to detail will be a valuable addition to our team. You’ll coordinate between various members of our team as well as outside parties and be a true asset to help Evergreene consistently achieve our goals for new home starts each week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit and track permit applications for the county/city jurisdictions where we are actively building.
  • Coordinate between Engineers, Developers and Architectural Services to address any comments relative to the permit process and to ensure all comments are being addressed and delivered to appropriate agencies quickly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate submissions of architecture and follow-up on all comments to enable New Home Plans and Master File Plans to be Approved for use with issuance of new building permits.
  • Obtain Driveway and Sediment Control bonds as necessary.
  • Manage fees to obtain permits within appropriate timeframes.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem analysis skills
  • Persistence and urgency as it relates to overcoming obstacles
  • Goal oriented and self-motivated
  • This is an entry level position. Experience is a plus but is not a requirement. Evergreene will provide training.
