Land Coordinator

Evergreene Homes has expanded operations and is seeking a Land Coordinator in Northern Virginia.

Provides coordination and administrative support for the Land Department which includes land acquisition, entitlements and site development. This position provides essential support for the purchase and development of home sites while helping to ensure all tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • • Set up and maintain files of information for communities (such as utility companies, consultants/contractors, final plans/plats, important dates, contracts, project reports, legal documents, utility information), coordinate legal document processing, assist with data entry and formatting for feasibility, preliminary and final budgets and reporting
  • Secure, place and monitor all bonds and Agreements for Land Development activities, including Agreement/permit extension requests. Establish network to cities, counties, municipalities and public works departments
  • Assist with land closing administrative tasks as needed
  • Responsible for all Land purchase orders and check requests, invoices and other financial system data management
  • Vendor contract administration – provide new contract packages to prospective land consultants and contractors, and assist with their questions regarding our Agreements, insurance, etc.
  • Input and maintain various Land databases as required for reports, budgets, contracts, and invoices
  • Monitor and coordinate with Director of Land Operations the approval process for all subdivision plans, plats, permits and agreements; maintain project files; keep subdivision hanging files up-to-date; order prints as needed
  • Work with Land team members to calculate and request necessary fees to accompany submittals and secure permits; process jurisdictional fees
  • Coordinate the setup of Homeowner Associations (HOAs), record HOA documents, prepare Sales Disclosure Packages for each community and update them as required; update architectural guidelines as needed for new communities; act as first point of contact for HOA’s with homeowners and management company;
  • Perform general administrative duties including preparing and following up on correspondence, requests, schedules and reports, legal documents, memos and other similar documents; work on projects as delegated by the manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned and may include providing administrative support to other department(s)


  • Prior administrative experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to coordinate with others for completion of required tasks in timely manner.
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels and to solve problems.
  • Knowledge of Business English and related correspondence formats; requires extensive follow-up on all correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently an prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Computer application skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
